Long-Term Addiction Recovery

Those of us who join twelve steps programs achieve and maintain recovery. We then help the newcomers achieve the same. Have you ever wondered why you see so few people with long term addiction recovery at meetings? Is it that they relapse into addictions?

Long-Term Addiction Recovery

I believe that most of them do not relapse but "move on" to greater pastures. They keep their 12 steps recovery at the core of who they are and take the actions necessary to grow into advanced recovery.

I am one of these persons with over twenty-one years of recovery with alcoholics anonymous who, after a few years of full involvement in the twelve steps world, felt the need for more resources in my life. I felt the need to expand myself and my personal development beyond addictions and recovery issues.

Many of us in the same position became professionals in the personal growth field. It is as one of these professionals in recovery that I have created a resource for men and women who are recovering from addictions and are ready to grow further. We invite you to join our community at www.livingbeyondrecovery.com. There you will find articles, interviews, book reviews, special teleclasses, and much more. Come and join us.
