Nights would be marred with banging sounds as her mother, was in a fit over something and would not sleep|There were also some sleepless nights due to the noise of her mother who was into something and would not retire to bed. Then, she had to cover the cost of the working hours of the caregiver trained especially in long term care for elderly while saving for her family as well.

She sincerely loved her, but she realized also that there is too much stress to bear. Most elderly people do not want to become a burden or strain on their loved ones and if they had their way, pass this life quietly with dignity and independence. The daughter recalls when her mother strive to remain in control the best she could and have stayed quietly under her supervision in her home. Not until one day, due to her Alzheimer's, she had gone out of control and capable of hurting people and herself too. Should she avail a long term care for elderly, she wished her mother to live comfortably just like when she was at home.

Whether she like it or not, she was left with no choice but to place her mother safely in a nursing home as the best long term care for the elderly. Her mother's condition is already in a stage where full-time care and attention must be given her.

There's nothing more for a daughter like her to do in such situation. Even it is painful, knowing that the experts in long term care for the elderly are always on the look-out for her mother, she will have the peace of mind
