Are you a Looneyspoons fan?

From the lens Janet and Greta Podleski's Looneyspoons, A Low-Fat Cookbook Review.

Remember that this book was published in 1996 and that, as is usual in our modern world, an awful lot has changed since then. Some of the information may be a bit outdated by today's trends. No longer is low fat the main focus. Now we're a bit more focused on good fats. Eggs, nuts and avocados are acceptable today. Bad carbs are out. As the authors of Looneyspoons have said, "there have been great strides and advancements in the study of weight loss, metabolism, trans fats, cholesterol, blood sugar, anti-oxidants, heart disease - you name it, researchers have discovered more about it." However, the recipes in Looneyspoons still Rock!
