The Lake Ontario ParrotHead Club

Welcome to the Squidoo home of the Lake Ontario Parrot Head Club.

The LOPHC was formed in September of 2000 in Brockport, NY. Our members enjoy a common interest in the music of Jimmy Buffett, and also performs service to charitable causes and to our community.

Thanks to all of our club members for your hard work and dedication: In 2006 we donated a grand total of 405 hours for various causes, and monies raised were $106,792.50. Since our inception, The Lake Ontario ParrotHead Club has donated over 1,200 hours to community service and has helped local charities raise over $400,000! It's a party with a purpose!

Live Album From Meeting of The Minds To Benefit The The Victory Junction Gang Camp

The Paradise Charitable Foundation is proud to present a brand new album: "Live From Key West". All net proceeds from the sale of this CD will be donated DIRECTLY to The Victory Junction Gang Camp to immediately impact the lives of children throughout this great nation!

ParrotHead Clubs? What are they?

This madness started with one club in Atlanta, GA (founder, Scott Nickerson) and has blossomed to a network of over 200 clubs around the U.S.A.; plus international clubs based in Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, and Australia. These clubs are all members of and sanctioned by Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc.

The purpose of Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. is to promote the international network of Parrot Head Clubs as a humanitarian group sharing information and social activities for mutual benefit. PHiP engages in activities that are charitable, educational, and that promote the general welfare of the community. PHiP is a Not-For-Profit Corporation, whose purpose is to assist in community and environmental concerns and provide a variety of social activities for people who are interested in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he personifies.

What are "Phlockings"? Get togethers, meetings, social events -- get the idea?

Fall 2009 ~ Barktoberfest to benefit Lollypop Farms.

12-09 ~ Annual adopt a family program.

All meetings will begin promptly (yeah, yeah) around 7:00pm for business. The social portion of the meeting will begin around 7:30pm. If you wish to be involved with the important decisions of the club, please come at 7:00pm. Members who come for the social portion of the meeting will be updated with pertinent information discussed at the business portion.
