Prayers for America. Blessing for America.

O eternal and everlasting God, I presume to present myself this morning before thy Divine majesty, beseeching thee to accept of my humble and hearty thanks, that it hath pleased thy great goodness to keep and preserve me the night past from all the dangers poor mortals are subject to, and has given me sweet and pleasant sleep, whereby I find my body refreshed and comforted for performing the duties of this day, in which I beseech thee to defend me from all perils of body and soul....

Increase my faith in the sweet promises of the gospel; give me repentance from dead works; pardon my wanderings, and direct my thoughts unto thyself, the God of my salvation; teach me how to live in thy fear, labor in thy service, and ever to run in the ways of thy commandments; make me always watchful over my heart, that neither the terrors of conscience, the loathing of holy duties, the love of sin, nor an unwillingness to depart this life, may cast me into a spiritual slumber, but daily frame me more and more into the likeness of thy son Jesus Christ, that living in thy fear, and dying in thy favor, I may in thy appointed time attain the resurrection of the just unto eternal life bless my family, friends, and kindred.

When you draw near to God by submitting to Him. Perhaps time is what you can submit, time reading His word or time spent in prayer. If your convicted of something wrong in your life, submit it to Him and ask Him what He wants you to do, seek the answer in the scriptures and just keep pursuing Him. He loves the bless the humble and pure in heart. Come clean with Him, submit it all to Him. He already knows everything about you. He can turn your weeping into joy!

...""God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. "...ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world. 22 And ye therefore now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh away from you." - John 16:20-22 (ASV)

"For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning". - Psalm 30:5

Almighty God, Who has given us this good land for our heritage; We humbly beseech Thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of Thy favor and glad to do Thy will. Bless our land with honorable ministry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion, from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people, the multitude brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endow with Thy spirit of wisdom those whom in Thy name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that through obedience to Thy law, we may show forth Thy praise among the nations of the earth. In time of prosperity fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in Thee to fail; all of which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the LORD; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. - Psalm 23:3

He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. - Psalm 33:5

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith." - Romans 1:17

Almighty God: Our sons, pride of our nation, this day have set upon a mighty endeavor, a struggle to preserve our Republic, our religion and our civilization, and to set free a suffering humanity...

Lead them straight and true; give strength to their arms, stoutness to their hearts, steadfastness in their faith. They will need Thy blessings. Their road will be long and hard. For the enemy is strong. He may hurl back our forces. Success may not come with rushing speed, but we shall return again and again; and we know by Thy grace, and by the righteousness of our cause, our sons will triumph...

Embrace these, Father, and receive them, Thy heroic servants, into Thy kingdom. And for us at home--fathers, mothers, children, wives, sisters, and brothers of brave men overseas, whose thoughts and prayers are ever with them--help us, Almighty God, to rededicate ourselves in renewed faith in Thee in this hour of great sacrifice... Give us strength, too--strength in our daily tasks, to redouble the contributions we make in the physical and the material support of our armed forces.

With Thy blessing, we shall prevail over the unholy forces of our enemy. Help us to conquer the apostles of greed and racial arrogances. Lead us to the saving of our country, and with our sister nations into a world unity that will spell a sure peace--a peace invulnerable to the schemings of unworthy men. And a peace that will let all men live in freedom, reaping the just rewards of their honest toil.

Israel is a land about which God says - uniquely, prophetically, redemptively, and repeatedly in the Bible - "This is Mine." God refers to Israel as He does to no other land on Earth. Israel was raised up to be a light to the Gentiles.

Every believer is charged to make Jews a priority in their value system because God has. Accept with continuing faithfulness the Bible's call to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122:6), and pray that our Nation will govern in the light of Genesis 12:1-3 "I will bless those who bless you".

Father God, remove the veil You have sovereignly placed over the eyes of Israel, that they would recognize Jesus as their Messiah. Guide America into blessing Israel. (2 Corinthians 3:14)

We pray that You would remember your covenants and promises towards Israel, especially when others rise up against her toswallow her alive. When their wrath is kindled against her, the waters will not overwhelm her. God will not give her as prey to their teeth. (Psalm 124)

Cause the church to fulfill its commission to preach the Gospel to the whole world, so the full number of the Gentiles would come into the Kingdom. Then all Israel will be saved. (Romans 11:25-26)

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6) and for it to remain Israel's undivided capital.

Father, in Your mercy vanquish the religious spirits which dominate the whole territory and each individual region and cities of Israel and America.

We pray for a spirit of unity-for peace between religious and secular Jews, for peace to exist between believers in the land.

We pray for the body of Messiah in Israel to become a praying, maturing body. We pray that this body would allow the love and compassion of Yeshua to flow through them and touch everyone they encounter.

We pray for the Holy Spirit to intervene in the current situation in Israel. "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19)

Turn the hearts of the people of Israel to trust in the name of the Lord for deliverance-not in the "chariots and horses" of their military might. (Zechariah 4:6)

May Israel's relationship with the United States be strong, and may our nation-and especially young believers-recognize and support God's purposes for Israel.

Lord, we ask that young believers in America would come to love the Jewish people as they seek to prepare the way for the return of Messiah.

Lord I repent of my sins, as you have required of me. I know that repentance starts at home, in my heart, in order for revival to come to this nation. I know revival starts in the home before it goes out to the regions and the nation. Lord give us peace in these times of rumors of wars. Bless this nation and send your favor upon us. Restore what was lost. As we turn to you and repent, Lord heal our nation. Bring revival to a hurting nation.

As our leaders help Israel decide her future, I know that Israel is in your hands, let your kingdom come, your will be done. Blind the eyes of the enemy and open the eyes of your people. May Israel and America have peace and comfort from the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. In Jesus name, amen.

Where are the Davids, Esthers, Marys? The vessels for God's use? Be broken before the Lord, "Here I am Lord, use me."
