The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is developed by Pandemic and published by Electronic Arts, which are leading video-game producers. The game's genre is action, where you get to play different characters and fight many battles on your way to victory.

But Lord of the Rings: Conquest follows a typical game play. You get to play as the forces of good, and finish eight difficult levels. After finishing this campaign, you get to play for the armies of Sauron. The game is much more enjoyable with the evil campaign. But you get to do the same thing in these two campaigns. First of all, you are to choose one of the four classes: Scout, Warrior, Mage or Archer. Every level you play has a set of objectives that you need to accomplish. You can have fun playing one of the heroes or villains (depending on the campaign you play) that you've seen from the film. They're more powerful than the standard classes but you have to be careful. Once their HP goes down to zero, you'll be stuck playing as one of the standard classes.

In this game, you are able to get on mounts such as Trolls, steeds or Ents, depending on which side are you allied on. The real problem with this game is redundancy. Though there are different classes and different heroes you can play with, you still get to smash the same buttons to attack. There are three face buttons that you can press to attack, with each having a different type of attack that makes use of magic and power-ups. There's a slight variation of attacks from one class to another, and even in heroes. Furthermore, graphics aren't all that great when fighting. In fact, you can find a few glitches, especially if there's smoke on the field. But you might find the game good if you're okay with repetitive game plays.

The best part of the LOTR: C is the visuals of all the environments. You can see that all of the environments look just like in the movie. You can recognize battles in each level as one of the famous battles in the movie. Furthermore, you can enjoy every moment of the game with the sounds. Howard Shore's great themes sound the entire game, which makes you feel like you're just watching the movie.

The game is also focused on multiplayer games. You can play with up to four of your friends on one console, splitting the display to four. Splitting the display to four looks like a bad idea, so just play with them online. There are three different multiplayer modes - Conquest, Team Death match and Capture the One Ring. Any game could be fun, but like the single player games, it is simply redundant.

Overall, the Lord of the Rings: Conquest is a good game especially for the fans. You can buy one on many video games store. You can find "The Lord of the Rings: Conquest on Sale" tags on many video game stores or even see "The Lord of the Rings: Conquest Sale" tags on advertisements on the internet.
