I was invited to visit this new community last year by a good friend of mine. My friend is the Sales Director of a new condo project in Loreto.
Experiencing Loreto
I had the opportunity to visit Loreto Bay in February. I was invited to help with the launch of the new JW Marriott project in Loreto. Experiencing Loreto in person was the only way to truly appreciate this destination. From the Orcas, the blue whales and the remarkable Dolphins to the great dining, area tours and stimulating conversations - this was a wonderful trip. JW Marriott Residences Loreto is a remarkable collection of 201 whole-ownership condo units.The new Discovery Center for the JW Marriott Residences Loreto made it's debut in December 2008. The word is that it is the finest sales center in Baja! The sales center features truly authentic, old Spanish architecture that is just stunning both inside and out.

- Where is Loreto Bay located?
- In 2004, a group of developers planned a 5,000-unit resort with seaside homes 20 minutes from the village of Loreto. As of June 2009, fewer than 800 units were sold, and some of those remain unfinished. In July 2009, Beck Loreto, a construction company, stepped in to continue home construction.

- If you are a fan of the ABC reality TV show "The Bachelor", you have to visit this link! The temperatures and winds are important for the fishing buffs. Many tourists enjoy fishing in "pangas" for "dorado" (Mahi-mahi or Dolphin Fish). There are several beaches to enjoy in the Loreto area: Nopolo, Juncalito, Ensenada Blanca, Aqua Verde & San Bruno. Loreto offers some of the best kayaking, diving, snorkeling and fishing in the Sea of Cortez and the North Pacific. You can visit the quaint mountain villages, the beautiful white sandy beaches, see ancient cave paintings, or just sit by the pool or beach and relax. Whatever you do, make it fun!
