Yeah, fat chance of that happening. Most of us would be tickled to death just to lose 5 lbs. because then we wouldn't have to by bigger clothes. Let's see what loosing just five little pounds will do for you.
You can probably think of a couple of more, but what you really want to know is:
How do I lose that first 5 pounds?
As with anything new or out of your routine it takes a mental adjustment and some discipline. That said you just need slow down your intake and increase your output.
1) Reduce Portion Sizes
If you have a pile of food on your plate from the local feeding trough, cut down the amount of food that you shovel in to a mound smaller than your closed fist. You don't need the extra food anyway and just think of those poor starving people in the office below you. Smaller, regular portions means your stomach will not be craving and you won't be constntly hungry and overeating.
2) Eat More Frequently
You should eat something 5 to 6 times a day. We are not talking about waddling up to the feed trough 6 times a day. 2 or 3 well balenced and small portioned meals plus healthy snacks in between to keep the cravings and food binges away.
3) The Evil "E" Word
Yes, EXERCISE! Now depending upon your current level of health and fitness, you need to ramp up slowly. Start with the simple things like parking your car in the farthest space from where ever you are going each day. Before your sower everyday make it a habit t do 5 reps of toe touchers, push ups and sit ups. Just do something more than you are doing now, keep a log of it and increase it a little each week.
4) Get A Weight Loss Program
