Hi, my name is Daniel Depp, but my friends call me Dan. Here I'll discuss my thoughts on the crazy promotion of diets and fads that claim to allow an individual to 'Lose 15 Pounds Fast' or 'Lose 10 Pounds In A Week'.

I've always been interested in health and fitness from a young age and was formerly a professional athlete. After retiring from the profession I found myself piling on the pounds and looking less than my best.

I know how hard it is to lose weight and how frustrating it is to see yourself putting it back on after the diet is finished! In the last 6 months I've managed to lose over 20 pounds of fat and keep it off. Here I'm going to give some insight into how I've managed to achieve this.

From my own experiences I can tell you that the vast majority of these products are a scam and the industry should be regulated - playing with peoples health just isn't funny!

I have used various different programs and products in an attempt to find the most efficient ways to lose weight safely. There are only two I can recommend to help you achieve your goal to lose 15 pounds fast, these are Turbulence Training and Fat Loss 4 Idiots but more on those later.

How often do you, or someone you know go on diet after diet and initially see the weight fall off, only to find it's very hard to keep it off? 1. Eat 4-6 small meals per day 

Balance your intake of nutrients. This helps increase metabolism as your body is constantly working to process the food.

2. Start exercising 

It may seem obvious but it is amazing how many people simply diet without any exercise. This helps your body increase its metabolic rate still further and will speed your weight-loss results.

3. Use weight training combined with aerobic exercise 

You don't need to lift massively heavy weights - just do a little, it helps regain any muscle mass lost during dieting and the aerobic workout will help increase the appetite appropriately. Turbulence Training is a great program that I use to achieve my fitness goals.

4. Eat breakfast 

This kick starts your metabolism for the day. Studies have shown that people who it a healthy breakfast actually lose more weight than people who skip it all together!

5. Set realistic goals. 

Losing 1 pound a week I'd say is realistic. 1 pound of body fat is 3500 calories, so cutting 500 a day will help you lose a pound a week and stay safe. Cutting out everything is a huge toll on the body, take it one step at a time.

Excellent information in your lense. Even though you set out to promote a couple of weight loss programs, (don't we all :( ) I applaud the way you have set out the information which people need to pay attention to when trying to lose weight. What you say is true and relevant and dieters out there should pay attention. The products you are promoting are not too shabby either, particularly turbulence training which I happen to know quite a lot about.
