This is how I lost 30 Pounds in 30 days
A little about myself......
Iwas graduating college, and getting ready to enter the real world. I found my self pushing 235 pounds, and I was not even 6ft tall. My waste size was a 40, pushing 40 , and my t shirt size was either XXL or XXXL.I was drinking atleast 3 sodas a day, eating fast food 2 times a day, sometimes 7 days a week. It got to the point where every fast food place started tasting the same, and I didn't even care where we ate anymore!
One day I realized that if I continued at this rate, I was going to be a pretty big person. I wouldn't be able to get the cute girls anymore, or be able to have a good time going out with my college buddies :-( At this point, I knew that I had to make some real changes with my lifestyle if I was going to be able to be the best that I can be. But what was it going to take to lose weight fast, and safe?
It's Simple: Action NOW!
The simple easiest way is to take action immediately NOW.
There is no secret formula - There is nothing to it, but to do it..!
So I remembered that when it came to foods, that the more simple and basic it is, the more healthier it probably is for you. I'm talking blue berry muffin with I cant believe its not butter, versus a bowl of oatmeal. I'm talking French fries every day versus a salad. One is loaded with sugar or salts, grease and bleached flour, the other is simple straight off the ground- as healthy as you can get real food.
Then, I remembered that I seen really cut guys on TV, talking about how they only do sit ups or push ups for 15 mins each a day to stay fit... I said to my self "Thats impossible! There has to be a trick..." So I began to experiment with it and this is what I discovered....
3 Simple 15 minute exercises to lose 30 pounds in 30 days
Each of these for 15 minutes...
So I stayed with the "keep it simple and basic" theme, since that seemed to be the trick for the food, and thats what the fitness gurus were saying, when I analyzed their real messages between their ramblings. These exercises are ones that most anybody can do, and it is almost too easy - So what is it exactly?
...And eat as much as you want, as long as its real food.
Thats it?? Whats the Catch.......
Remember, its not what you are doing, its how you do it that makes you successful!
When you do your push ups, your arms are going to begin to feel like jello or spaghetti... Soon you won't be able to lift your self up off the ground!! Thats ok. Take your time, and as soon as you can push up again, DO IT!! Do as many as possible for 15 minutes straight.
Over a period of a few days, you will notice that you are able to whip out more and more push ups every day. I was up to over 100 by the end of 30 days, and was at about 3 when I first started.....
Remember: Mr. Push Up is your friend, and the key is to do AS MANY AS YOU CAN in 15 minutes.
The key to push ups is how you place your hands on the floor. There are 3 positions: wider, shoulder width, and 'Triangle' push ups. Each style works a slightly different part of your body, with Triangle being the most difficult, working your chest pectoral muscles. Try and do 10 days of each, for 30 days total, saving Triangle for last.
Regardless, you want to keep your hands (index finger and thumbs) at 45o angles, as if you were doing Triangles, even if your hands are spread at shoulder, or a wider width apart. This ensures that your chest is getting the maximum benefit.
I hate sit ups
But after 30 days, I was looking forward to them!
Amazing... I never thought in my life that I would ever be looking forward to doing sit ups... Lol..!! But sure enough, by day 30, I was whipping them out like nothing, and doing over 100 sit ups at the end of 30 days. Again.. when I first started, I could barely do 5 sit ups! It was really embarrassing, but by the 3rd week I was still able to go strong, and I even felt that I could go past the 15 minutes if I had to...Remember: Mr. Sit Up is your friend, and the key is to do AS MANY AS YOU CAN in 15 minutes.
You want to have your feet secured; either by using a cinder block style brick, or under your bed maybe, using weights, or even a partner... You need to have your feet secure.
Next, you need to place your arms crossed, with your hands near your shoulders - not behind your head. Lastly, you should rotate between "right elbow to left knee", "left elbow to right knee", and both elbows to both knees. Rotate between these 3 styles of sit ups, in order to work your stomach evenly.
Lastly, you may find your self near the end of your 30 days, and being able to blow right past the 15 minutes, with plenty of energy for more sit ups. Atleast thats what happened to me, even though I started out barely able to do any. So you may consider using a dumb bell or a medicine ball to hold on to while doing your sit ups, as you build your sit up endurance. This will make each sit up even more effective.
Get Lost...
Use this time to clear your mind, and leave your worrys behind...
The best part of jogging is that it releases your positive endorphins into your blood stream, giving you the ability to clear stress, clear toxins, and to have clear thoughts. Try thinking about a solution to one of your problems in life, AFTER you just finished jogging. You will be amazed at what your brain produces! You want to have a decent pair of shoes for jogging, that will support your feet and ankles. When you jog out, you want to keep the tempo of your speed at a moderate pace... Not to fast, and not too slow. Lastly, you want to bring you knees up as high as possible, just like a foot ball player running on top of the spare tires- but you don't have to land with your feet wide or anything, just keep your knees up.
So you jogged out for 15 minutes. Now you have to make it back home... jogging of course! This is a hidden trick... :-) You jog out for 15 minutes, and then you have to jog back. When you come back, try not to drink a whole lot of water, only a few sips here and there. And while you are winded, do not sit down! You need to stay standing, and if you need to rest, place both of your hands on your knees and hang out like a baseball player who is in the outfield, until your heart rate returns to normal. If you sit immediately, or drink a lot of water immediately, you can get sick and strain your body. So don't do that...
One Last thing to remember...
Important information about eating and breathing......................... This is the Oxygen and Fuel, which goes with your Spark!
30 Days later...
You just finished your 30 day weight loss exercise, but it's just begun...!
Wow...! After 30 days, who would have thought that you could really lose 30 pounds?? Now you have the basic blueprint on how to stay physically (and mentally) fit for the rest of your life. It is so easy, and you know exactly what it takes...I recommend you continue to work out and change up the routine after 30 days. Incorporate the dumb bells or medicine ball into your sit ups, or include the Ab Roller into your push up routine. Consider using ankle weights for your jogs.
Remember to continue to eat healthy - A rice cooker with a built in veggie steamer makes awesome stir fry... Who says eating healthy can't be fun or tasty??
