My goal is to lose 40kg in 12 months
I'm a bit on the overweight side of things - as of February 2008 I rock the scales at 131kg (289 pounds), it's way past time where I need to do something about it, so here it goes.
My goal is to lose 40kg in 12 months - you can follow my progress on my blog: Lose 40kg - my Weight Loss Blog, but here are Six things I'm going to do to make sure I achieve it.
Six things I'm going to do to lose 40kg in 12 months
- Restructure my diet - there are plenty of foods I can cut out. Read How I plan to lose 40kg in 12 months (part 1) for more information.
- Document my journey publicly on a blog... you can read it here: Lose 40kg.
- Establish a large supportive network of people undergoing a similar journey using a few of the wonderful social media sites.
- Put together a suitable exercise program, although not from day 1... read my thoughts on this here: How I plan to lose 40kg in 12 months (part 2).
- Continue to learn about effective weight loss techniques and share them on my blog.
- Have fun and spend more time running around in the back yard with my kids!
