My weight loss story is not the story people want to hear. People magazine runs articles about people who lose 100 pounds in five months or people who lose half of themselves in half that long. The populous likes to hear stories about the obsessive compulsive guy who lost weight by eating nothing but rice cakes. They want to hear about the lady who put on a pair of tennis shoes and ran herself thin in record time, eventually winning marathons. My story isn't nearly as glamorous.

Despite what you may think, losing weight isn't a mysterious process. In fact, weight loss doesn't even have to involve strange diets, special exercises or even the 'magic' of pills or fitness gadgets. Want the secret to weight loss? My name is Charles. I'm 21, lead a lifestyle that was infront of the computer all the time. Always ordered fast food. Love Burgers, Pasta, Pizza anything that had grease on it. My health was deteriorating at a fast pace. I looked worse and worse everyday. Like any other ordinary joe i wanted to fix myself. I wanted to have the six-pack abs that all the ladies go crazy for. The confidence that comes with being healthy and sexy. The energy to play sports go out with friends, and enjoy life to the fullest.I am 230 pounds in that picture(below). I had 2 decisions to make continue the lifestyle i have and become a hermit while my lifespan steadily shortens OR TAKE ACTION. I Chose the logical answer that anyone would have in my situation. I took action.

#1: ExerciseIt's nothing new, but exercise is probably the most important predictor of whether you will succeed at long term weight loss and weight loss maintenance. #5: Watch Your Portions
With the advent of "super-size" meals and increasingly huge portions at restaurants, our concept of normal serving sizes is a distant memory. Be mindful of the amounts of food you consume at a sitting. When necessary, divide your food in half and ask for a take home bag. It is all too easy to be a "plate cleaner" even when served enormous portions.
What I Found Out.....
Ive never been a good runner so plainly put I CANT RUN. Any Guy can lift weights and still not lose weight or look slimmer. Keeping a diary did help but not as much as i thought it would. I focused on being healthy but a big burger sounded good everytime i thought of it. Pfft dont get me started on portions.Now... do you want to know what got me from being a fat 230 lb average guy to a 174lb in less then 2 months????
