Lost Detroit: A look back at Detroit

People never realize what truly beautiful architecture can be found in Detroit until they actually visit. Unfortunately, much of that beautiful architecture has been lost due to neglect, abandonment, and demolition. The aim here is to show off the greatness of Detroit from its past via vintage videos and images.

I hope this serves as inspiration that all is not lost for Detroit and that it can once again become a grand city.

Lost Detroit: Stories Behind the Motor City's Majestic Ruins

Lost Detroit tells the stories behind 12 of Detroit's beautiful (but forgotten) landmarks. This 175 page (full color) book does not dip into the ruins genre that has been so popular as of late, but celebrates the buildings and their stories. Proving that as long as we have the stories, these buildings are never truly gone.
