To put your lens up for consideration, send a quick email to lotd@squidoo.com- Don't just send an empty email with a single link in. How boring would that be to receive?! So be nice. Why not write WHY the lens is super cool and deserves Lens of the Day. And write a line or two about why you made the lens.
- And you don't just have to nominate your own lens. You can nominate ANY lens. you just send an email to the same address as above, and write a short reason or couple of lines about why the lens deserves it. You will then probably get a mention in the email/blog post that goes out to everyone.

- I haven't had it yet, but I definitely want it! My Christmas stories lens has been holding steady in the top ranks of Religion category for a while... and just might break top 200 overall - very exciting for me! :)

- I have started to nominate other people's lenses to LOTD as well as the occasional one of my own. Today I am absolutely thrilled to have got LOTD for one of the lenses that is closest to my heart. Not quite sure how my daughter will cope with her new found fame though - it's not everyone who can say they have the most famous left ear on Squidoo!

- This is great, thanks! I have had a couple that I thought were as good as any, but thought that they had to be 'discovered' like Lana Turner on in a drug store soda shop! Now I know better.

- My Easter Coloring Lens was featured as Lens of the Day on March 18, 2008. Might it have been a leprechaun who helped guide it, or perhaps great coaching from Giant Squids and Angels? It's certainly inspiring and exciting!
