Stand Up Comedy As Only Louie Can Do

I love the stand up comedy of Louie Anderson. His comedic genius has made me laugh since the 1980s when I first saw him on Johnny Carson. His comedy skits about his family life growing up as a kid in Minnesota are things that many of us can relate to, he just makes the stories sound so funny.

Let me share some great comedy sketches by Louie and also give you a little history on someone who I think is a very funny man, Louie Anderson.

Comedian Louie Anderson...a little history

Louie Anderson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 24, 1953. He was one of eleven children, being the second youngest of the family. Raised in the St. Paul area, Louie has a lot of material about his family in his comedy sketches.

We hear about his brothers, his sweet mother, and a more than grumpy father. For those of us who grew up in the same era as Louie, we can really relate to family life as Louie tells it.

Louie has had a couple of sitcoms that unfortunately didn't last very long. He has had comedy specials and even hosted The Family Feud for a while. He is also known for his Saturday cartoon...Life with Louie.

Currently Louie does a scheduled performance in Las Vegas at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
