Love of most things Vintage or Dreamy

Hi,
I want to introduce you to all the fun you can have with shopping for vintage. Not only do you save money, you are also being environmental-conscious, but also getting one of a kind items.

When one thinks of vintage, you often think old period styles or costumes or really shabby stuff. I want to clarify that vintage can mean anything from old to new items. It depends on what you are looking for and what you find. There have been times I've gotten clothes that are decades old but still have the tags on them! That is so much fun to see how the old labels were made, the style and print (but that is just me). If you happen to have a more modern fashion or aesthetic style, there are many yard sales, thrift stores that sell items within the last few years or decade. It is so much fun because you really never know what treasure you'll find. You can also check your local Salvation Army store for some random bric-and-brac item. They often have nice furniture at very low costs. But you just have to figure out a way to deliver it home.

I will be showing some vintage items in my shop and maybe you'll be inspired to try vintage! But I'll also be mentioning some of my favorite shops (non-vintage). There is nothing wrong with loving both new and old!

If you are new to vintage, it is always good to just browse around and see your own personal style. But keep in mind that if you see something you really like (and the price is right), I wouldn't wait too long to purchase, because most vintage are one of a kind and it may go fast.

When you buy vintage, you know you are doing a part to saving the environment, and reusing something wonderful. :)
