Love Potion #9 -- easy love potion ideas

Ingredients

• 9 oz sweet red wine
• 9 basil leaves
• 9 red rose petals
• 9 cloves
• 9 apple seeds
• 9 drops vanilla extract
• 9 drops strawberry juice
• 9 drops apple juice
• 1 ginseng root cut into 9 equal pieces

Instructions

Before you start, light 9 pink votive candles and place them in a circle around your cauldron.

Next, mix all nine ingredients together in the cauldron and stir it with a wood spoon 9 times. Each time you stir, repeat the following:

LET THE ONE WHO DRINKS THIS WINE
SHOWER ME WITH LOVE DIVINE.
SWEET LOVE POTION NUMBER NINE
MAKE HIS/HER LOVE FOREVER MINE.

Next, bring the cauldron to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for exactly 9 minutes. Immediately remove the cauldron from the heat and allow the contents to cool.

When the potion is cooled, blow on it nine times while blessing it in the names of the nine Goddesses of Love - Inanna, Ishtar, Astarte, Hathor, Nephthys, Aphrodite, Venus, Freya, Arianrhod. Strain the potion through a piece of cheesecloth and pour into a clean container.

Store the potion in your refrigerator until you're ready to use it and don't let anyone other than your intended see it, touch it, or drink it.
