I enjoyed watching Robert Munsch sing the repeated verse in Love You Forever. Of course he had a song in his head when he wrote the words. It was nice to hear his tune. I'm not the best singer, so I'll stick to reading the words.
Some people sing the versions they have heard others sing. Some people come up with their own tune or just read the words like me.

- Here's my Love You Forever story. My wonderful mother-in-law was in the very last stages of cancer. She was at home, and hospice had told us it was time to come and say goodbye. My husband and I and my six year old daughter went to her bedside. My daughter read her Love You Forever. She died later that night.
Books are scripts. They let us say things to each other we ordinarily might not be able to.

- wow. My children lost a special grandparent recently. I know from experience how hard and important it is to involve children in the grieving process and help them find words for their feelings. It's nice this book was able to help your family find the words and share love. Sorry for your loss.
