I love summer

Summer is my favorite time of year, there are usually a lot of things going on.

With high gas prices and rising cost of everything, many of us are considering staying close to home or at home for entertainment and relaxation. Have a party or get together at your home instead of going out!
Take some time for yourself, enjoy reading a book, plan a BBQ, tend to your lawn, go to the pool or the lake. Just take advantage of the beautiful sunny days. Something about the sun just makes my day seem better, I have more energy, I feel happier and overall just in a great mood.

My favorite things in the summer:

this is what I look forward to all winter long...

We try to spend as much time as possible near water: My daughter is on a swim team in the summer and practices and swim meets take up alot of time- but we have FUN! I have nicknamed her "AquaGirl". We also like to visit the lake to swim and maybe do some fishing.... or spend a lazy day...

    I Love summer as well. We normally can't be found any where away from water..lol..But that is life in the HOT desert

    Yes, summer. Always goes so fast for us northerners. Love the breezes, sounds and most of all the colors. Great lens. Rated, faved and rolled.
