Share Your Digital Pictures, Use a Kodak EasyShare Camera
My Basic Tips
Share yours in the guest book :)

Camera Memory Card: Consider purchasing a memory card which expanded my Z710 memory from 30-40 pictures to over 1500. It cost under $40 and has been well worth it because now I can snap away without missing a shot.
Fresh Batteries: Always have spare batteries for your camera, you don't want to miss that special shot! Think green...purchase rechargeable batteries!
Keeping Track: If you do not want the date to show up on your pictures when you download them from the camera; set your camera accordingly and in a notebook write down picture #, date, time, subject, place, etc. for easy reference when editing.
Paying Attention: Pay attention to your surroundings; create the picture you want by learning basic lighting tricks or be totally spontaneous and add tweaks when you are editing your pictures.
Saving Your Pictures: Save your favorite shots to an external hard drive, on a re-writable CD or at the Kodak Gallery
Your Picture Collection Scan, edit and save your treasured picture collection; they will never fade or get lost. Once they are filed away they are easy to access for sharing, creating, and printing.

Ten months into ownership I am still finding extremely cool features and realizing this camera has so much potential!
I love:
the design and easy grip.
the clear, crisp pictures.
the large viewing screen.
the push button capability; go from action to video to delete to save in favorites!
I would like to learn:
how to use the manual mode and f-stop.
lighting tricks.
how to make a digital collage.
On my wish list:
the docking station because it transfers pictures with a few clicks and recharges the batteries.

Started w/1 of the 1st kodak digitals and now use a Fuji Finepix I bought on a cruise 4 years ago, but digital for sure. Used to have a Pentax SLR and develop my own film, but now am lazy and impatient so must have digital since the quality is magnificent and the economics is great. I do use the easyshare software.

Editorial Review:
An excerpt of a thorough and informative book description on Amazon..."This isn't a book of theory-it isn't full of confusing jargon and detailed concepts: this is a book of which button to push, which setting to use, when to use them, and nearly two hundred of the most closely guarded photographic "tricks of the trade" to get you shooting dramatically better-looking, sharper, more colorful, more professional-looking photos with your digital camera every time you press the shutter button."...

Admittedly, it's blurry at times and very short, so I would like to explain.
- The video feature is totally new to me...I need to slow down when taking a shot!
- This is a perfectly short snippet of how new puppies act and sound, I know you want more...yet it's just right for my dial-up downloading and viewing.
