Crocs Were My Karma, What's Yours?
I've had a few favorite shoes before, starting with Birkenstocks (Hey! just as ugly as Crocs, not as comfortable), Chaco's (fabulous, but got tired of the breaking in period), Dansko's (felt completely disconnected from the ground with these) and Merrel's (okay for a while, but soon wear out).
The first time I saw Crocs I was standing in the line-from-hell in Cancun, Mexico. The six hour line through customs was inching along when I saw this entire family in Crocs...bright, over-the-top colors, almost-rude shoes. I had quite a few judgmental thoughts about those ugly looking shoes.
I should have known better. When I harshly judge someone else, the karma gods smite me. Sure enough, a month later I had my first pair of Crocs. I never looked back.
Crocs are fantastic for all kinds of physical problems including arthritis, multiple schlerosis, heel spurs, back pain, diabetes, pregnancy, leg pain from standing on concrete all day and many more. The website has oodles of testimonials.
And Croc is an amazing company for their commitment in giving back through several different programs.

I have indoor summer Crocs, the slipper insert Crocs, and a backup pair, all in black. I also have 1 pair of pink ones so I can wear them with my grandaughter, who wouldn't wear hers until I did. :D

Well, funny you should have this duel lens as my hubby just today said something about my baby pink Crocs Prima shoes. 'Don't you need shoes with better support?' Perhaps, but I love my Primas and have them in almost every color available! Cool debate. How many other shoes can you turn a hose on???

Sloggers (styled like Crocs, but a softer, cushier plastic).
I even made a lens about them as I think they saved my feet from years of pain and suffering from normal shoes.

Some of these crocs look great - but my favorite shoe is a Dutch design they are lnts.nl and their shoes always fit me perfectly.

I am yet to get a pair of these. I don't think they are particularly attractive but I have tried on a pair and they are comfortable. My favorite walking shoes are the ARA sandles. I buy a new pair whenever I go overseas because I know they will last the distance and be comfortable at the same time.

I finally broke down and bought a different shoe...I just couldn't wear my Crocs to a wedding. I found a fantastic brand that were cute and comfortable called J-41. Their logo is Adventure On!

Mine went to India, how about yours?
I can only show so many photos of shoes...before I go bonkers. Besides, as fabulous as Crocs are they are not going to make hearts go pitter patter for their beauty. What is beautiful are the stories that people tell when wearing them.

- I wear clogs because I have such a wide foot that most shoes hurt me. They also help with pressure points on the bottom of my feet that develop with regular shoes or sandals. Those hurt.

- Thanks for the great spotlight on my favorite kicks. I wear mine nearly 100% of the time. A lot of medical people wearing them now instead of running shoes for good reason. These are the only shoes to wear if on your feet all day. :D 5 stars and Fav.

- The tribute to Steve Irwin was cute! I love my Crocs (but I live in Denver where they come from).
Good debate - I've tried some new ones that I really like called Air way or Air something - very similar - more expensive - a little more support. Nice lens - I'm sure you'll be joining the ranks of Giand Squid!

- I just bought a pair of leopard print Malindi Crocs -- they were a special brand made for Dillards here in Florida. I've written to the company to suggest they add leopard/animal print to their other Crocs. Love my Primas!

- No Crocs for me. My feet are a HUGE 9 1/2. Way too big for these "clown shoes." I don't want to draw even more attention to my feet!
