    Very informative lens on dealing with lower back pain. One treatment I would recommend for lower back pain is non surgical spinal decompression.

    When I was diagnosed with 2 herniated disks in my lumbar spine-the only thing that gave me any kind of relief was exercise! The process was about 3 months of therapy, but I was able to avoid spinal surgery and return to work Your lens has great info, thanks!

    This is a timely lens for our family; hubby is recovering from a back operation after years of therapy, exercise and meds that haven't solved the problem. He'll be doing exercises to ward off future problems as soon as he's healed.

    I added Omega3 supplements to my diet, created a clean diet to allow my bowels to move regularly, rid my life of unnecessary stressors, and use back and core strengthening exercises to create more Peace in my lower back. Rare are my back pain issues now.

    Bending over with one leg locked and the other at an angle while you touch your toes is a great stretch for your entire body especially your lower back.

    I use exercise, yoga and an inversion table to relieve pressure from a bulging disc in my low back.

    I've been starting to add yoga in the morning to help with my back pain, and it's incredible that just a few stretches in the morning will help so much for the rest of the day. Thanks for the information too, I've been doing some plyometric training for strength and when done correctly can strengthen your core and your back muscles.

    I used to have back pain from the work I do lifting heavy boxes but I came across this company that gives away free samples of a product that got rid of my back pain and it ws free. What have you got to loose to see if it works for you

    Great lens! I couldn't agree more with the fact that good stretching exercises prevent and reduce the back pain. I take pilates-yoga classes and I see it helps people no matter how old they are or what kind or back pain they have.

    In the past - kneeling on all fours, humping my back up then arching it really strengthened my back and stopped the pain. Unfortunately, due to arthritis of the knee, I can no longer kneel at all

    I usually have my patients stretch their pelvic muscles. I have them work specifically on their piriformis, psoas, and hamstrings. This tends to loosen the pelvis and take the strain off the low back. As a physical therapist, I have found that a lot of low back pain comes from an imbalance of muscles and other soft tissue structures that influence the low back but are not directly connected to the low back. That is except for the psoas.
