As Gary Player once famously said "the more I practice, the luckier I get". This is certainly true in golf. It is a game that demands skill, patience, understanding and, in particular, consistency if good scores are to become a regular feature of your game.There are few, if any, naturally lucky golfers as the bad luck and good luck that golfers inevitably experience tend to even themselves out over time. So the correct type of practice is key. Spend time on your short game and putting technique - and particularly your mental approach to your putting game - it is here that most shots can be saved in a relatively short time-frame.
