Lower Ab Workout... How To Do It Correctly

Before we work up a sweat we need to discuss a couple of things. First, how's your diet? What are you eating? The simplest advice I can give you is cut out anything processed and eat local organic and grass fed products. You will feel better and be healthier.
Next, are you doing a million crunches and still having trouble with that little bulge below the belt? Maybe you just aren't using the right techniques.
First suggestion, throw away all those ab gadgets you bought off the TV. Most of those things are like fishing lures, they are made to catch a sucker. The best machine for weight loss and muscle building is your own body weight. Here are three exercises that will work wonders below the belt.
1. Reverse crunch 2. Ab scissors 3. Leg raises
The reverse crunch is just what it says. Instead of lifting your shoulders, as in a normal crunch, you lift your legs. This is one of the first exercises I learned for the lower abs. It goes like this.
Lying flat on the floor with your knees bent, press your back against the floor. Tighten your abs and lay your arms beside your body, palms pressing down on the floor to support your body during the exercise.
Now, lift your knees towards your head as far as you can until your back starts to lift off the floor. Lower the legs and repeat as many reps as you can. Don't start too fast. Stop before you think start to feel the burn the first few times you try this movement. Shoot for 8 to 10 reps to begin with and work up to 15 and then add a minute rest period and do another rep.
Ab scissors are great for the inner thigh, as well as, the lower abs. And, they are easy to do. Lay flat on your back, knees bent. Support your back as described before. Straighten your legs until they are pointing towards the ceiling. Now, spread your legs apart as far as comfortable to start and return to starting position. From this basic movement you can use many variations.
For leg raises you really need something to hang your body from so that you can support your weight and lift your legs. This may take a little effort, but is well worth it. Leg raises is one of the best ways to tone your lower abs.
Got your support, good, lets get started. Take hold of your overhead bar and lift your knees towards your head. This is a tough one and it is going to take some conditioning to be able to make much progress, but it is well worth it. Do as many reps as you can, raising and lowering your knees while supporting yourself from the overhead bar.
You can experiment with different variations of this exercise, like lifting knees from side to side. I think you are going to well please with your new flat tummy cause you are lookin' good.
The above are the three best exercises for your lower ab workout. But, as you probably know, you should have a check up from your doctor before starting any exercise program.

- seated jack-knife
- Abs Bench crunch
- hanging knee-ups
- Abs Bench crunch pulls
- Do cardio.
Please note that cardio is not the most effective way to get six pack abs fast
but if you want to lose abdominal fat you will have to do cardio exercises.
