A poor understanding of the subject and the many questions I have seen being asked has been the inspiration of this page.

I hope you find the below information about low progesterone infertility helpful and better understand the associated problems.

Low Progesterone Infertility

Low progesterone infertility is one of the most common causes of infertility in women. Over the course of a monthly menstrual cycle the levels of progesterone will increase and decrease significantly. There will be a swift rise of progesterone at the time of ovulation. This diminishes if fertilisation has not happened. The reduction of both progesterone and estrogen causes the start of the monthly period. Contrary, when conception has happened, the progesterone levels increase thus stopping the lining of the uterus being discarded.

Premature birth can be a threat, due to low progesterone or falling levels of progesterone. The changes that occur in the breast is mainly caused by progesterone and stimulates breast milk. The foetus is influenced by the levels of progesterone. The correct levels will act as a stabiliser of the pregnancy whereas, low progesterone levels can stop pregnancy happening or influence miscarriage or other problems occurring while pregnant. It has been shown that infertility is a consequence of low progesterone levels and lead to low progesterone infertility.

How can this Problem be Addressed?

If you have experienced difficulty in conceiving or have experienced miscarriage in the past, it would be advisable to seek medical advice to have progesterone and other hormone levels checked out. Low progesterone is reckoned to be one of the common causes of infertility. Some factors that have to be taken into account are modern day living. Modern farming methods which inject cattle and chickens and other livestock with hormones to increase the size and weight of these animals. It has been suggested that by consuming meat and poultry which have been subjected to these hormones that we can be adversely affected. There have been and will continue to be studies in this area, as human fertility and low progesterone infertility appear to be symptoms. Artificial sweeteners, aluminium foil packaging are among other elements which are said to have negative effects on our lives and can contribute to infertility in both sexes.

There are many other factors, smoking, alcohol and diet to name a few which contribute to the common causes of infertility. To get more advice on this subject and learn fertility secrets visit Low Progesterone Infertility
