I have loved LP record albums since I was just a kid. I remember listening to Pink Floyd and Elton John on Saturday mornings with my dad. As time went on, cassettes, compact discs, and now MP3's replaced the classic LP albums. While I'm all for technology, there's still just something about dropping that needle on your favorite album, sitting back and letting play all the way through. Not to mention the excellent art on most of the covers themselves.

    Yes, I have two cupboards crammed full of records. They give much more pleasure than CDs and DVDs, and as for downloading and all that new-fangled nonsense, give me a big record with a beautiful record cover any time! I've got original Dylans, Cat Stevens, Frankie Laine, Elton John, Hair, Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, and on and on.
