Great book filled with inspiring stories, Active Dreaming is all about learning how to "community dream", to bring out your consciousness in the dream group. Full with exercises to practice, it is an invaluable source for anyone wanting to learn to lucid dream.I like the way he puts it in his book - basically he says that we don't have to go to sleep and then become conscious during dreaming - instead we can enter lucidity right from the start, at a state that is between waking consciousness and sleep. It's interesting because this is one of the ways to also induce astral projection - another very similar technique that I am discussing elsewhere on my pages.

Carlos Castaneda is invariably one of the most discussed writers and spiritual teachers of our times. He is also one of the most controversial ones. He was way ahead of time in his concepts and philosophy and he has, single-handedly, introduced more fundamental concepts into the contemporary mainstream of shamanic studies than anyone else I know.This book is a classic on lucid dreaming, one that every serious student or anyone interested in the subject should read. While the book does read like a fiction (which is one of its strong points when it comes to lots of people reading it, it does have, in fact, a lot of real valid material that can be used in dreamwork.

This is a book I've just finished recently and initially I was not sure it was about lucid dreaming at all. In fact, even now I'm not quite sure, simply because it is so much more than that. Here lucid dreaming is a prerequisite for dreamwalking - for entering other people's dreams. The book touches on lucid dreaming, astral projection and even near death experiences.It is full with the author's stories of how she grow up in an environment that fostered her love for the occult, and she gives lots of examples on how she learned dreamwalking.
A fascinating story, one that anyone interested in lucid dreaming, astral projection or the occult in general should read.
