As a baby boomer, I, along with millions of others, grew up loving Lucille Ball.
Her life has always been of interest to me. From the extraordinary business woman to the rocky marriage between her and the love of her life, there was a lot more to this woman than most people know.

- Though best remembered by generations of fans for her role as "Lucy Ricardo" in the classic TV comedy series "I Love Lucy", Lucille Ball was a seasoned performer with more than 20 years of film work to her credit before she became one of television's top comediennes. A savvy business woman who pioneered television film technique and the first woman to head her own film studio, Lucille Ball died April 26th, 1989 at the age of 77.

I didn't grow up when I LOVE LUCY hit the TV screen first time and it was only during the 70's that I've discovered her (Lucille Ball) when I was around 10 years old and I instantly fell in love with all the reruns of this show! I adored her wholesome humor! Now, I'm in my 40's, I'm still frantically looking for I LOVE LUCY videos and thank God for this lens of yours, Robbin! My mom will hate me if I won't share this to her!
