THINGS I REMEMBER
- I remember every new year we ALWAYS got a new lunch pail... probably because we had dropped the thermos sometime during the previous year. It was so much fun picking out a new one. Yes, I was a simple child lol... Will add to the list as I think of more things. :)
- Paper lunch sacks might be environmentally friendly, but I can remember a high school senior on our bus (I was a kid) who had her entire lunch drop out of the bottom of the bag and roll down the center of the bus. Never forgot that and I'm sure she never did either. lol
Funny The Things Kids Remember
You don't want to know how old I am... okay, I don't want you to know, but I will tell you this. Many moons have passed since I carried my lunch in a metal tin but I still remember it. As I said... it was metal, but it had this puffy vinyl stuff on the top. It was pink with black and white poodles on it. I would love to find one just to sit on a shelf, but I fear that too many years have gone by. :( But, when your kids ask for a new lunch box to go back to school, you might want to put their old one in the basement. When they hit their teens, I'm sure that they will love to have it back... to store stuff in! The Worst Sound...
... dropping your thermos and hearing the glass shatter inside! I heard it a lot lol...

Don't do what I did. Every day I would write a little note on Britt's banana. Back fired on me big time, but I didn't learn about it until years later. It made Britt cry every day! I felt soooo bad when she told me. It made her miss me!
