You will not want for anything on one of these vacations. The transportation is paid as well as all the entertainment, rooms and dining. Other vacations leave something to be desired. There are various competitions to participate in during the day. You can compete with others for the furthest walking. Competitions range from dances to bingo, to karaoke. There is even competition over who ate the healthiest. Often there are rewards given out and some notoriety among the crew and guests for the winners of these games.

There are travel vacations other than cruises. But, they require a lot of attention to where you are going, schedules and so on. When you are on a luxury cruise ship, you will not pay any attention to the schedules. That is what the ship's captain is for. You will arrive at the next port at the appointed time. No worries.
Dinner is always served up at the scheduled time and food is available to you pretty much any time of day or night. Do you want to eat something or drink something? It is there at your request. No more driving around in an unfamiliar town looking for some restaurant that doesn't look like it will solidify your veins just entering the premises.
