Great News pet owners!!! The company I work for recently developed a product that you can use to test the tick for Lyme disease. It’s simple to use, and can give you results within 10 minutes. If you research online at sites such as PetMd etc.. you will see the best treatment for your animal is early detection. The sooner you identify and treat the threat, the better you increase your pet’s chances of minimizing the effects of this disease.

This product is something every pet owner should have. For those of you interested, please visit our website for more details http://www.affiniton.com

Thanks, and the best of luck to those of you who have pets that have been infected, and I wish your Daughter the best HunterDan.. btw.. we are working on a test to use for people as well.

My daughter contacted Lymes disease at 12 years old. She is now 17 and still has problems. As far as we know there is no cure. She is doing a lot better but now has artheritis in her joints. She does have more good days than bad now but for the first couple of years they were all bad days. Lymes disease is something that very few medical facilities recognize because there is no money to be made in the treatment. Inexpensive antibiotics is the only treatment found so far. Its all about money, sad huh.

My German shepherd female is limping while walking since one month... sometimes she looses the control on her legs... Her nipples are swollen since then... Our Vet is giving her vit. B complex tablets... First he gave some pain killer with this vitamin and there was an improvement but the moment we stopped it, again the problem started... And now the prescribed Vitamin tablet doesn't show good changes... any one can help me in this case...? even I don't know what disease my dog has...?

Great lens since moving to Poland with our pedigree Dobermann Pincher we love to let him run free in the natural pine forests that surronded the area of eastern europe where we live, unfortunately this natural beauty comes at a price and wild deer and boar wander into the area at night. We treat our dogs regularly and check them daily for ticks but i simply cannot bring myself to deprive them of there daily run they look like small ponies galloping through the undergrowth. Warning to all dog owners be vigilant where ever you live. Thanks for an amazing lens

I am lucky that in Australia most tick problems with dogs occur further north than where I live (Melbourne). Though we had similar symptoms as explained by lyme disease with grass seeds getting into our dogs skin last summer season. Thank you for a concise update on this scourge.

Thanks for this information. My puppy just had an adult black tick removed from her side. Disgusting! She only walks in the park, my backyard and on the sidewalk so this is to warn fellow dog owners that dogs are at risk even in the suburbs.

Since we moved to Connecticut from the UK we have had no end of problems with ticks. We have deer in our garden almost every day from spring to autumn. Poor Billy has to put up with use brushing and removing all the ticks we have missed from before.

I just found out that my dog has lyme disease and I am so upset, I'm heartbroken.
I'v been reading up on it to be more informed about the condition. My dog has not shown any sympoms however I want to be well educated so that I may keep a close eye on her. I love her so much I can't let anything happen to her, shes my baby.
