    Want to let people know about the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and Cthulu.con that just took place in Portland, OR the first week of October. It is a yearly film maker's event, put on by Lurker Films. This year they decided to include writers, not just film makers. I was forunate to go. Other writers there included: Brian Lumley, Micheal Shea, Laird Barron, Joe Pulver, more. Portland is a great city anyway. The panels were interesting, it was great.

    Thanks to everyone who has posted their reactions to the book. It is so gratifying to read what people think about the characters and that they got it and enjoyed the read.

    At the moment I'm reading Lynn Cesar's new book Apricot Brandy. It's pretty scary in some ways, but some passages are actually quite funny. I am not a horror fan per se, but I am enjoying this rather unique blend of supernatural horror... can't wait for the real battle between good and evil to begin!
