Mac Frampton, Talented Pianist

Mac Frampton was a member of my class at Erskine College in Due West, SC, in 1962. In those days, we would sit in awe as he played piano for our chapel services. We all knew that one day he would be very famous for his amazing talent. And of course, he is! What a powerful entertainer! Mac's music will touch your soul.

Billboard Magazine called him "an immensely talented pianist, at home in a wide variety of musical settings." The Atlanta Constitution wrote: "How one man can bring the rafters down in Symphony Hall as if a full orchestra were playing is a feat in itself. It's consummate musicianship. Electrifying!"

Mac has 22 albums in all and a motion picture soundtrack. His music is basically classical, but draws on jazz and rock - a really nice mix.

As an entertainer on stage, Mac is personable, light and fun to watch. Watching his hands fly across a keyboard is an experience you will not forget! Relax and enjoy!

South Carolina native

Those of us in South Carolina are especially proud to call Mac one of our own. After graduating from Erskine College in Due West, SC, Mac received his Degree of Doctor of Musical Arts from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.

He has teamed with Bill Cosby, Roberta Flack, Victor Borge, Louis Ney, The Fifth Dimension and Metropolitan Opera star Roberta Peters.
