The end of an era!!

In this article, macbook review, we explore why it is that I believe apple have created one of the most in-genius models of technological brilliance, which is to my mind, an unrivaled and much celebrated accolade to the apple team.

My quest for perfection began many months ago and most likely, it also began pretty much in the same way that many quests for a new laptop begin.
Being towards the end of November I was sat at my desk watching the dying sun as it slipped behind a brooding mass of cloud, and already feeling the foreboding sense of dread as I witnessed the many signs of the approaching Winter. The sky was gun metal Grey, the trees had been stripped of there leaves and once blossoming flower beds now mocked me with there bland and mud sodden emptiness. I like millions of people was gripped by the foreboding sense of melancholy that lies in the barren wastelands of time that proceeds the last of the Summer.

The time that is known as SAD.

No doubt your probably curious to know what this has to do with an article about a macbook review? All will become clear in time and please read on as your curiosity will be rewarded tenfold by the end on this tale.

To add to my woe and almost as if it was in league with the force of benevolent and wicked entity, my acer laptop was getting ready to crash, the tell tale signs flashing before me like the seconds of ones life flash before road crash victims just before they hit the aproaching wall.

Firstly, my applications began to slow and you could almost hear the wailing shriek of pain as the 256mb of Ram struggled to cope with the two open applications.

Of coarse I told myself, my foolish insistence to expect to launch more than one application at a time was just what I said, foolish. Now I was paying the price and running up against the big boys. The guy who won't take any excuses and will strike without reason.

The 'guy' being the stubborn and unmoving egg timer that would arrive just before the acer crashed and I would be forced to hit the reboot button. To my dismay, this game of cat and mouse would go on night after night and if it wasn't for just a few moments of compliance from the aging machine every so often, the pile of crap would have been buried in the mocking, bland flower beds much sooner.

Then it happened. The night came when the machine could take no more of my stubby fingers slamming down on its delicate keyboard with the force of a thousand mini atomic bombs. The dreaded and ultimate moment where there can be no return.
The blue screen of death.

My initial feelings were beyond comprehension, almost Matrix like and my time in seconds became that of time in eons. A thousand life times came and went with just me and that deathly blue screen locked in a vacuum where utter despair ruled without mercy or feeling. Then reality arrived with the impact of an exploding star.

My laptop was dead.

Like a man gripped in the worst of nightmares I stabbed frantically at the usless keyboard wanting and needing to wake up.

There was no life without my laptop.
