Machida do Karate for Mixed Martial Arts DvD - Free Shipping

Machida do Karate for Mixed Martial Arts is a 4 box DvD set and one of my favorite martial arts training videos. This is not you crappy fighting techniques dvd with a ish mash of old rehashed techniques this is the Real Deal.

What I like best about this Machida do Karate DvD is that all the techniques you see Lyoto Machida demonstrate and teach on these DvD's are the same techniques you see him perform in his fights. This is great because as you study the techniques inside these DvD's you can then watch them in practice under real fight conditions. To me that is worth the price of admission! Ok here's what I think about each DVD in this martial arts training series.

DVD 1 Movement and Fundamental Strikes - Machida's footwork is very unique, and once you see his application and witness his movements you'll quickly see why his is the champ. He goes over many techniques unique to karate footwork, such as tai-sabaki, and certain styles of shuffle steps, but once you start applying these to your fights you'll be winning sparring match after sparring match.

DVD 2 Striking Attacks and Takedowns - The best thing I like about this DvD is that Machida shows all his combos on a partner and with focus mitts. That might not sound too amazing but when you see these training combos and the way Machida breaks them down and then you realize that he really uses all this stuff in his fights, you are blown away.

DVD 3 Intercepting Attacks, Takedown Defense, and The Clinch - I'm not going to give away this DVD but you just have to watch it to believe it. Lots of anti- takedown stuff (perfect for a striker like myself) and the magic to intercepting attacks and owning in the clinch.

DVD 4 The Ground Game Machida shows you the fundamentals to owning on the ground and controlling the fight. Its not just about grappling, instead Machida shows you the secrets to ground and pound, how to escape, pass sweep with everything you need to win on the ground.
