I like how these safety resources are broken down by machine types: Saws, Presses, Plastics Machinery, etc., very helpful and useful.

Basics of Machine Safeguarding
Princeton University's gives some great safety tips on how to avoid horrifying accidents such as crushed hands and arms, severed fingers, blindness, etc. Best of all, on their website, they provide a very useful "A Machinery and Machine Guarding Self-Audit Checklist" available for free download.

Guard Against Machine Hazards
US Dept. of Labor's Machine Guarding Safety training tips. This website offers some good info on how to contact OSHA to provide consultation services. How to get on-site evaluation of workplaces and the recommendation of possible machine guard hazards. The Machine Guard Safety consultation program is completely separate from the OSHA inspection effort; so no citations or penalties for this consultation. They also provide a free checklist full of great safety questions on machine safeguarding.

    There are training programs for those who operate the equipments for Machine Safety. There are also training programs meant for safe and proper maintenance of accident investigation records and also basic precautionary measures for the employees such as appropriate clothing, machine guarding, safe lifting, electrical safety and lockouts. There are also programs for educating the employees about the various types of fires and fire extinguishers and tips for dealing with emergency situations.
