Make Mad-Eye Moody's Mad Eye - Harry Potter Accessories

Professor Mad-Eye Moody

Alastor "Mad Eye" Moody supposedly arrives at Hogwarts at the beginning of year four as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. He is a former auror and has a magical eye that he created himself, which can see what is hidden to a normal eye, and rotate backwards to see through the back of his head.

This photograph is of Brendan Gleeson as Mad Eye Moody in Warner Bros Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix.

Here's an excuse to put your creative craft skills to use. He's one of the coolest characters in Goblet of Fire and has small but significant roles in The Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows. Make Mad-Eye Moody's mad eye...

Make Mad-Eye Moody's mad eye

Mad Eye Moody MaskWarner Bros have made this one easy for us.

Use an old watch strap, extended with elastic to fit over the head if needed.

Paint an eye on a polystyrene or plastic half-ball (or buy a realistic eye from a joke shop).

Glue to the watch-face.

You can see what Mad-Eye Moody's eye looks like in the picture above.

Or alternatively, you could get a Mad-Eye Moody mask, like the one above right.
