Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium

Great ebay deal on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium

This is just a simple and to the point lens to help other squids from being a victim of bad software on Ebay.

Lets be honest here! Most of the Microsoft software you see for sale on ebay is either counterfeit or branded software. The branded software in most cases is branded by Dell but not limited to just them. I am providing this page to everyone so they dont have to waste their time going through all the auctions and trying to figure out which software is legal and which software is illegal. More importantly, not only is the software auctions I list recommended by me, but they are also the lowest priced on ebay!

The auctions I provide are those from trusted ebay sellers that have no record of selling either counterfeit or branded Microsoft software.

This is the best deal I could find on ebay for Windows 7 Home Premium both 32-bit and 64-bit from a well known seller that not only has a great feedback score but is also a Microsoft channel partner.

Interesting lens if you can keep it up to date. I don't really buy software off of eBay but this can be a boon for those that do.

As to which version of windows I like best .... I just live with whichever one I need to. I was perfectly happy in the pre-windows DOS world, but have vinally gotten used to cicking in little pictures instead of typing in commands.

Had to smile at the some of the poll options. I run all the latest MS Os's, but I will always be partial to Windows 2000 for some reason!

As long as the reseller has a perfect eBay rating (100%) and over 1,000 transactions, I might consider buying expensive software like Windows. You have to be careful when buying stuff like operating systems on auction sites, but you can save A TON of money if you give yourself a strict criteria when browsing.

Great lens! I only buy clothes for my boys on e bay. Thank you for your support :).

I don't think I'd ever purchase software online--especially if it was a costly program. By the way, I have Windows 7 and I absolutely HATE IT. I can't think of one new feature it has that is good. I've never had a worse version, and I've had almost every version of Windows including Vista.

I love shopping on eBay, but would probably not purchase software there. My stepson had a bad experience online recently, and we had to dispute the credit card charges. Not fun!

I'm always leery about buying software like Windows and the like on eBay, but a few years ago, I was fortunate to get an original on Office 2007 at a relatively good price. It worked great, service was fast and the experience was awesome. Thanks for sharing your insights on the subject.

I have always wondered about those software offers on ebay. A person has to be so careful with software purchases. Thank you for raising my awareness. Appreciated!

Gosh, first it was counterfeit designer handbags on eBay; now software? Good Grief Charlie Brown! I guess we have been lucky, as we've shopped over the years to find many a good software or hardware deal on eBay ... it's good to know what the safe and authentic buys are; you know?
  • ictguyblog Nov 4, 2011 @ 6:39 am | delete
To be honest, I do have original Windows XP disk but I have never installed it. I use my own cracked slim installation, yes I`m still on WindowsXP because all programs work great and it is better for me. My XP looks more like windows 98 than XP xD
    Thank you for great information`s!

Actually I have never bought anything on eBay. I'm sure I'm missing some good deals, but also don't get ripped off like you mentioned could happen.
  • Rob3 Nov 2, 2011 @ 11:05 am | delete
Thanks for visiting my Wine lens. This is intesting information, however I don't think I would ever consider buying software from an auction site as you have no idea of its history etc.

Nice! Quick and to the point. I agree, software purchased on ebay is, well, not the best option unless you don't care about buying legal stuff... but then why buy it at all? Just use torrents in that case. I'd prefer to stay legit, so thanks for this useful lens.

I use eBay, but I have never bought Computer Software from there, thanks for the Heads up! :)
