We will start with the basics of what kind of account, how to play, and quick secrets to advancing, forming an alliance with others, and getting the most fun out of the game that is possible. Let's talk about Character types in the game first.Mogul: The greedy scrooge that wants to make every single penny (s)he can.
* Bonus received paid every 54 Minutes.
* Normal received paid ever 60 Minutes.
Fearless: They gather health quicker in order to fiercely fight more often.
* Bonus you regenerated 1 health every 3 minutes.
* Normal you regenerated 1 health every 5 minutes.
NOTE: While playing though any one can pay for health every 45 seconds.
Maniac: The Mafia who is looking to rob, pillage, loot and collect all the vault items to amass the wealth that far exceeds everyone else.
* Bonus received energy every 3 minutes.

Now that you have an understanding of characters, its time to select the type of account you would like to create. Since the game has a wide variety of scenarios, you can mix and match to create what is the perfect account for you.
1. You can be an energy account where you don't care about fighting. You just want to be someone who levels, completes job mastery tiers, and the vault collections. You do not really care about wins or losses. You are here to have fun, and watch your little blue bar race to the top.
2. You can be a normal account. That's where you play to have fun, do a little fighting, do some jobs, and level up. Because you care about winning, keep your attack and defend high enough so not everyone can kick your butt.
3. You set out to make a power account. That's where you do surveys and buy Godfather points so that you can pack and stack those stats points. Your defense and attack are many levels above what it should be. This is easy accomplished with the 14 Godfather points for 4 stats points. 1400 Godfather points = 400 stats points, which would give them an 80 level advantage. The good part about this is even though levels may look close to the same, stat points are hidden and no one knows until they attack you how strong you really are. Later they are surprised when someone 100 levels lower beats them in a fight. The love of hidden stats points is leading people to believe you are weak!
How To Add Mafia
* To begin, you have to send the person you want in your mafia a friend request or they have to send them one.
* Once friends, you have to send them a Mafia Wars invite, or receive one from your friend.
* One of you will have to accept the Mafia Wars invite.
* One way to get a lot of adds is to post in the [link]Add Me forum. Make sure to go through the list and add some people yourself.
* In both Myspace and Facebook, you can delete people from your friends list in and they will stay in your Mafia Family.
* Facebook has a limit of 16 Mafia Wars invites per day.
* On Facebook, you can delete people from your friends list, but you cannot help them do jobs because you have to be friends to make that function work.
I have over 500 Mafia. Do I need to buy more than 500 weapons?
You only need to purchase up to but not exceed 501 of the best inventory for your mafia.
I want to delete some of my mafia. They do not play. How do I do it?
You do not ever want to delete mafia. They do not hurt you. They only give you benefits.
