Daily Money Making

In Just 5 Minutes...

Cash in minutes
I have compiled 4 easy ways that anyone can make money every day!

1) Vote! Each day, you will get a little banner at the top, asking you to vote. Do this, and you will get $20,000 and 25 points (each point is worth over $5,000 on the points market).

2) Find your city name on the left (Phoenix when you start). Go into there and under 'Casino', click on Lucky Dip, and pay the $1,000. You are almost guaranteed to get a huge profit. Most of the time, I find it's $10,000+

3) In the city area again, under 'Downtown', click on 'Search Downtown'. This is again a free. I mostly find $4000+, and I once found a Large Turbocharger worth over $40,000!

4) In the same 'Casino' area as mentioned before, use ALL the money you have to play on the Slot Machine. The higher your level, the more you can bet per turn, and the more you bet in one go, the more you get out it. Again, profits are very almost guaranteed, but you may get the odd $0 spin.

(Scroll Down For More Money Making Tips!)

For December 07 Only!!! - There is an advent calendar under 'Other', in the city section. On December 25th, the there is a SPECIAL PRIZE! If you aren't near an internet connection on Christmas Day, then don't worry because it'll be available until New Years Day.

Leveling

Crime
Leveling in MafiaDeath is key. It lets you go to other cities, and show off!

To level, you need exp! To get exp, you need to commit crimes (by going to the 'Crime' section on the left hand side bar) or busting people out of prison (in the 'Prison' section, again on the left hand side bar).

Crimes:
I will add more info on crimes soon but here's a short blurb:

Crime is based on how much nerve you have. The more nerve you have, the bigger the crimes you can commit, but don't blow it all! Just because you have, say 15 nerve, it doesn't mean you can commit a crime that requires 15 nerve - there's a lot of chance involved too. The higher your nerve, the more chance you have of committing a crime. So if you have 20-25+ nerve, then will have a much better chance of successfully committing that crime.

Prison Busting

It takes 10 nerve to complete a prison bust, but I would recommend waiting until you have at least 15+ nerve, because you will stand a much better chance of successfully completing a bust.
Compared to committing a crime in the 'Crime' section, the Prison gives you nearly double the amount of exp for the 10 nerve you use up. The only real downside to the Prison is that you might have to wait for a while (30 secs+) before a person gets locked up, and even then, someone might beat you to busting them, or you might fail to bust them out.
If you have 20+ nerve, then I think the best technique to using time well is to start looking for busts a couple of nerve points before the highest multiple of 10 nerve points you have (so if you had 40 nerve, you could wait until you had 34,35 or 36 nerve). Then, whilst you are looking for an opportunity to bust, your nerve bar refills. This can save you a couple of minutes, handy if you are training hard.

Attributes - What are they, and how can I improve them?

Attributes is the posh word for stats. They refer to the Strength, Speed and Defense stats. Here's a little guide to each attribute:

    Strength

Strength = Damage. Simple as. The more you train your strength, the better you hit your opponent. Of course, your weapon still counts towards the size of the hit.

    Speed

The higher your speed, the more chance you have of getting the first hit. Alongside strength, this can be vital in a fight if you haven't got a high defense because you could kill your opponent, without them even touching you.

    Defense

A high defense means it's harder for your opponent to kill you. Your defense, kind of, muffles the attack of whoever you're fighting.

To train your stats, you need to head over to the Gym. Your energy and awake-ness determines how much your stats increase:

    Energy

Your energy can be used to attack people and train at the Gym. What I do know is that the higher your energy capacity, the more you can gain on your stats. To train quickly, you can refill your energy for 10 points on the Use Points page (click on 'Use' next to your points at the top of the page). You must have 25% energy to attack someone.

    Awake-ness

Your awake capacity is determined by your House - the better the house, the better more awake points you have. The more awake points you have, the more stat points you get when you train at the Gym. You can refill your awake points on the Use Points page again - 1 point per 1% refilled.

More Money Making

Some More Ways Of Getting The Cash...

Fishing For CashThe market can be a hard place to make money. I've tried making money with the market before, and what happens is when you put a $100,000+ item on the market and go offline, a higher lvl will buy it, and then mug most of the money back. This can be up to 75%+. The solution:

[It's better if you have the power to market items in your gang vault and take money out the gang vault, but this also works if your gang leaders are trust-worthy]

Find an item on the market that is $20K+ cheaper than the rest of the same items, buy it, and donate it to the gang.

If you have high power within your gang:

Next, go to 'Your Gang' page, scroll down to the bottom, and click on 'Manage Vault'. Here, you can manage what goes out of the vault. Find the item you just donated to the vault, and click on 'Market' next to it. Now price it in the top 5 cheapest prices for that item, because then it should sell in just a couple of hours. Once the item is bought, the money goes straight to the gang vault. Once back on the 'Manage Vault' page, you can send yourself the money that was gained from selling the item.

If you don't have power within your gang but trust your leaders:

When you have donated the item to the gang vault, get a leader to market the item for a price within the top 5 cheapest prices of the same item on the market. Then, when the item is bought, the money goes straight to the gang vault. Then ask a leader to hand you the money that the item was sold for. This way, you lose the risk of someone buying the item off you and mugging the money back.

With this method, you can make make 20k or more per run, and if you keep doing it over and over again, the profits can be huge.

[PLEASE ASK YOUR GANG FOUNDER FOR PERMISSION BEFORE DOING THIS! REFER THEM TO THIS PAGE SO THEY CAN SEE THE METHOD AND HOW IT WORKS!]

Bunnies

Who, What, When, Where, How

Fishing For Cash
You may happen to be browsing round the forums, the newspaper, or the search and heard the term 'bunny'.

A bunny is an account, with a high level, and low stats. This means that when you attack them, they should be easy to kill, and they will give you high exp, for a price of a couple of points. If you don't pay the points, you will probably get stuck in hospital by the bunny's protectors, so PAY UP!

A bunny will always have the word 'bunny' in their name. In their signature, they should have their stats, the price for hits etc.

What NOT To Do!

There are many standard rules among experienced players on MafiaDeath that if broken, could result in some serious annoyance!

Rule #1: Do Not Kill The Money Man

This has to be one the largest hates on the MafiaDeath forums: Money Man Killing. Basically, if a guy is attackable whilst holding large amounts of money (generally 100K+), and you attack him, this is hugely frustrating for those who could mug him, because he will be in hospital, making him un-muggable.

If you kill and don't make the money man, the muggers will kill you. And don't even think of mouthing of. It just causes you more trouble.

Rule #2: Do Not Attack Online People

Another big hate on MafiaDeath is attacking someone whilst they are online. If the attacker is successful, this is hugely frustrating, because the victim has to wait in hospital for 20 minutes, wasting precious time to train etc.

Even if the person is online and the attack fails, then it can be seen as an attempt to put the victim in hospital.

To prevent yourself from hitting online people by accident, when you search for another player to attack, make sure that for the 'Show Only:' box, you select 'Offline'.

The only exception is when someone has attacked you online, if you have been hired to hit someone, or the person you are hitting is a bunny. Just remember to pay their prices though.

Rule #3: Do Not Mouth Off When You Get Mugged

If you get mugged, it's really your fault, and that's the harsh reality. If you have more than about $80,000 and you aren't in hospital, prepare to be mugged, even in a split second. It's really not going to happen. There are people out there all the time ready to pounce and mug you dozens of times.

And the reason you don't mouth off? Because you'll be stuck in hospital for a good while.

I have figured out some mugging techniques:

Go to phoenix
Set the least money to 80,000 $
Set it to view those that are attackable
set it to show online those online.

Click Search and Save

Click search and save every few seconds (not too quickly. . . don't want the refreshing issue to get you banned)

Be patient and make sure you have full awake. Every couple of minutes a person will appear and you can mug a few thousand. BUT

Every once in a while you see someone with like 4 mill pop in. Then you make a few hundred thousand. You will want plenty of awake and plenty of nerve when this guy pops up.

:)
