Mage class changes...

General
• Pyroblast's initial damage has been increased by approximately 26%, and its damage over time has been increased by approximately 100%.

• Fireball damage has been increased by approximately 17%.

Fire
• Living Bomb damage over time has been increased by approximately 10%, and explosion damage has been increased by approximately 120%.

Talent Tree: Arcane

Burning Mana Like Tinder

Arcane spec for mages is a grasp on raw power. It is essentially direct damage bolstered by spellpower and channeling spells. The mage who can wield this spec has access to the very fabric of time and space.

Damage is the name of the game with every mage spec, but for arcane, damage is an obsession. Almost every talent is meant to increase spellpower for you and your group. You also get improved sheeping spells. Bonus.

Talent Tree: Fire

FIRE!!!

Fire is a classic spec for direct damage and offers straight-forward damage with additional DOT effects. The master fire mage can burn his mana, but burn his or her enemies down first.

This spec is all about buildup. Apply a couple base spells, add in additional damage over time, pump up the damage with various spell combos. then sit back and watch your enemies burn down to cinders.

Talent Tree: Frost

Freeze Them In Place & Beat The Crap Out Of Them

Frost is all about being cool. Being cool, get it? I made a funny! Anyways, by keeping you opponent frozen and bogged down, you open up a greater window to unleash direct damage spells (which continue the freeze) and sick you pet on them.

Oh yeah, probably should mention the water elemental is the new pet for frost mages. So you slow down your opponent and hit them with everything you've got and still keep hitting them when you've run out of juice. Frost spec is popular for both PvE and PvP builds, though you will see this a lot in BGs more than raid groups these days.
