Maggie is an amazing actress. Secretary and Criminal are my two favorite Maggie Gyllenhaal movies. I can't believe I still haven't seen Crazy Heart! As soon as I leave your lens, I'm going to go to Netflix and put it in my queue.

Ps some other great Maggie Gyllenhaal movies to check out include: CrazyHeart (another AMAZING role that would have been nothing without her and well done to Jeff Bridges too) Batman-The Dark Knight (MG plays MJ taking over the role from Katie Holmes, a fantastic performance) Riding in Cars with Boys (a fantastic portrayal of a complex human situation AMAZING! ft also Drew Barrymore) Mona Lisa Smile (a GREAT movie with other celebs such as Julia Roberts Kirsten Dunst and more) and soooo many others these are the fairly recent flix :) absolutely worth a look, I am sure you'll fall in love with them too :)

Maggie absolutely NAILS every role I have seen her take on! I didn't really know much about her til i recently bought SherryBaby and if you haven't seen it honestly grab a copy I do not believe you will regret it. She plays her roles in their entirety not just the bits she likes - or will make her popular (yes some celebs actually strike that MOST celebs seems to pick and choose the traits of their 'characters' they play with strength and others they just slide over) it was absolutely believable and that she isn't Sherry IRL honestly stumps me as she played her soooooo well. A job completely perfectly done with a a seamless transition from the beautiful actress mom wife she is - and no I am NOT saying Sherry isn't wouldn't be or whichever is appropriate (and despite being a PK I would still absolutely be agasp to meet anyone with the 'stones' Sherry has/had/or were created in her character) Maggie is definately a most stunning beautiful and talented woman/mom/wife, an incredible actress with true talent and I will definately be watching anything she does in the future :) anyhow that's my opinion so GO MAGGS!!! Thanks for having the strength to show each and every emotion .....be that whatever is traditionally accepted, the completely taboo or somewhere in between and for showing the humanity we may not see for the 'boxes/labels' in front of it.
