From the name you can guess that white magic spells are performed purposes of good, not evil. Luckily, white magic actually has greater power than black magic cast for evil. Casting white magic can prevent, protect against, or even destroy any type of black magic, curses or hexes.

White magic spells are also cast to help solve problems with love, money, health, fertility, to counteract attacking incantations or protect against the evil eye amongst many other things.

Love spells

The most popular branch of all white magic, is love spells. These are cast to bring back lost lovers, to attract someone new, to strengthen an existing love and other requests.

Love spells can also be used as protection. For example, to protect a marriage, or prevent divorce or separation. There are many dedicated spells to deal with individual and specific romantic situations, including break up, breaking love, marriage protection, lost love, soul mate, lust and even anti-lying spells.

Money spells

Second in terms of popularity to love spells, the other most frequently requested type of magic are money spells. Usually invoked specifically to solve financial problems, with proper spell casting money spells are very effective in drawing money towards you. Healing spells

Healing spells deal mainly with situations related to health, illness, injury, pain and other health problems. They are used to help anyone suffering from illnesses that affects the person physically, mentally or emotionally.

For example, they act on people who have undergone much stress, strife and trauma in the past but who cannot seem to come out of the other side. This type of magic invocation is amongst the most powerful magic available to white witches and wizards.

Spell-casting should not be used for anger, revenge, jealousy or other evil thoughts.

Some people say that spells which are peroformed using the spell-caster's own words are more pure and powerful because of it.

When you are casting spells, you can also use different tools or methods. These tools contain the energy which can be used to represent your desires and goals, and help you direct and aim your own energies. There are different kinds of tools such as oils, candles, cards, stones, runes, etc. Most of the time the object used is something personal to you associated with the aim of the spell you're casting.

The location you perform the spell is also important. Wiccans believe that we are one with nature - some spells may require you to be in natural surroundings, however, spell casting can also be done indoors. Many Wicca followers practice their magic secretly, not only to avoid public persecution but to help remove distractions and wasted energy.

When performing a magic spell, it is vital to keep in mind that you are using your own energy and directing it with the help of the powerful universal forces to achieve a desired outcome. The universe is full of energy, therefore there could be negative energy which may interfere with your positive energy. Practicing magic privately helps ensure that your energy and your spells are not disturbed.

Another common problem is timing. Some magic spells may require that they are performed at a specific time, or over a specific time period. But adapting to time constraints can be hard. Fortunately there are some expert witches and wizards who would say that performing spells under a full moon, for example, is not that important. While it can increase the potency of the witchcraft spell, it is your intentions which are more important to success.
