My favorite Magical Fiction Books and Authors
Here you will find some of my favorites, but that is no easy task! Some are obvious, others you may not expect to find Magical subjects written by writers not generally associated with Witchcraft.

It is part 1 of a trilogy, entitled "Captivated".

"Captivated" centers around the first Donovan cousin, Morgana. She is a witch who runs a wiccan type store in Monterey. Nash is a novelist who specializes in horror stories (like Steven King) and he is planning to write a novel about witches, so he comes to meet Morgana since she is infamous in the area for being a witch. At first he doesn't believe her powers are real, but as the two continue getting to know each other and fall in love, he begins to believe

Entranced (The Donovan Legacy)
"Entranced" is about the only male Donovan cousin, Sebastian. He has psychic powers and often uses them to help the police when they are stuck on a case. Mel is a private investigator searching for the kidnapped baby of one of her friends. She doesn't want Sebastian's help, but the distraught mother called him anyways. The two of them go on an intriguing journey to find the lost child, and in the process (of course) fall in love!

Charmed And Enchanted: Charmed\Enchanted (The Donovan Legacy)
"Charmed" is about the final Donovan cousin, Anastasia. Her extraordinary powers specialize in the healing arts. A widowed father, Boone, moves in next door to her with his young daughter, Jessie. Ana and Jessie get along extremely well and because of this Ana and Boone end up spending a lot of time together and fall in love. The big problem is, Boone doesn't know Anastasia has magical powers which ends up causing a rift between them when he finds out.

Nora Roberts Three Sisters series
Romance writer trys her hand at the Magic and Fantasy side of life and nails it!
Check out the titles in this series. If you haven't read them yet, don't wait one more second. Grab them and dive right in. If you commute to work, consider getting them on audio CD format and drive to work with a magical quest

Kim Harrison's "Rachel Morgan" Series
Rachel is a modern-day Witch who hunts demons
Dead Witch Walking quickly immerses the reader in a vibrant cast of characters. We meet Ivy, a living vampire; Jenks, a pixie with a lot of children; Trent, a businessman who may or may not be human and is believed to be dealing in Brimstone, a nasty drug, and so on.
Dead Witch Walking is a paranormal mystery that can easily be compared to Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series or Laurell K. Hamilton's early Anita Blake novels. Rachel Morgan is a charming character that is very easy to like.
