The Magicbuilder is our shortcut to help YOU start a great page online.

We just built the easiest way we could imagine to get your big ideas on the screen.

The goal of the Magicbuilder is to get you started (not finished). We figure a good head start is half the battle.

This page will answer frequently asked questions about it and give you some power hints and tips too.

For free.

Magicbuilder tip #1

First of all, don't worry. Everything you do can be undone. Start fast. Edit lots. Delete goofs. Add often.

What's a Squidoo page? What's a lens?

We call webpages that get build on Squidoo "lenses." A lens is your compilation of writing, pictures, videos, links, books, debates, comments and whatever else you can cram onto a web page about a single topic.

Your lens, your point of view, your vision of the world around you.

This is a lens. It was free to make.

A lens uses building blocks, called modules, to grow your page and put content on it. There are text modules, photo modules, a Duel module for fun debates, RSS feed modules, eBay and Amazon modules, Flickr and YouTube modules and a heck of a lot more.

In the magicbuilder, we take a guess what modules to start you off with, based on the type of lens you told us you were making. You can always add more or delete others and totally customize your lens. No matter how it starts out!

Magicbuilder Tip #2

Sketch your way into a great lens. Answer the useful questions you see in the Magicbuilder, and ignore the rest.

The most frequently asked questions

What's the most frequently asked question?

We don't know yet. We just launched. But once we know, we'll tell you, right here. And we'll answer it.

Do us a favor: if you have a question, ask it just below. Thanks.

Magicbuilder Tip #3

It may take only a few minutes to get started. But that doesn't make your lens great. You make it GREAT by providing unique, useful and updated content people actually want to read. We're counting on you.

Put your questions here!

Thanks for helping us test out the new magicbuilder. It's still in BETA!

UPDATE: We're looking into the bug from Step 3, where there is no continue button. Thanks for hanging in!

HELP US OUT and send in a bug report with really specific info about where you got stuck and why.

I agree totally - This is COMPLETE C**P!

Can't add modules,

Can' find the tags.

Just like eBay and Paypal - as soon as somethiing works well, WRECK IT!!

If you have too many staff that have to justify their wages - put them off. Don't get them "fixing" something that aint broke!!!!

here are some moneymaking websites that pay you via paypal or check just by completing surveys they are not a scam
The First website is called
http://makethatdollar.com/?ref=iamkyle015
I personally love this site. its so easy to make money on it. You can do surveys, click ads, refer people and much, much, MORE!!!

Another great website is
http://www.spidermetrix.com/sm120.php?refspider=iamkyle015
In this you can complete your profile, take tests, quizs, and open surveys/private surveys and you will get spider points. Then you can redeem those spider points to cash, e vouchers or items in the gift shop.

next we have http://www.greedyclicks.com/?ref=1994
In this site they give you $0.50 to start off and there is no minimum price to withdrawal money! They will send it to you in 24 hours or less.
Also another site that is connected to this site is http://getpaidto.com/?ref=24355
also visit www.squidoo.com/top4sitesthatpaid

Two problems as a newcomer:

Where do I find the 'link to the blog'?

Why don't the items selected from Amazon show with the comments I made?

When is this "magicbuilder" going to actually work? From the comments here, it sounds like it hasn't been working for a few days. And it sure isn't working for me either because I have tried 4 times already and it refuses to publish a lens. What a nice way of starting off with trying to create a first lens [sarcasm].

I'm trying to make my first lens here.

In step 3, when I clicked "publish my page now", it brought me to the registration page although I already log in.

Then I clicked "log in here" and keyed in my email address and password and I clicked "log in" button.

After a while, it brought me here: http://www.squidoo.com/build/magic_builder_confirm with and empty page.

Was that a problem or what?
