I went online for a free 30 day trial and found out after I had put in my debit card number and recieved my Conformation number that it wasn't a free trail. Now I am wanting to canceled this order and cannot contact no one about this. This is called bait and switch and that is against the law.

I live in Montreal and when I tried to get phone line the Montreal area code was not available; so I am using a quebec city area code instead.
Calling out is not a problem anywhere

If you check the other services.
Let's say you want to use your cell
to make longdistances, it's cheap cheap
    I think 2 cents a minute

My issue is that the Magic Jack company sells to Canadian's but does not offer ANY canadian area codes. Yes we do save on our long distance fee's but the fact that we can't get a local number is not acceptable. They also double charged my credit card two times and never refunded me. I had to cancel the Visa to cut them off, they told me to go to the consumer protection agency they didn't care. Other than that yes it is great...

I have my Magic Jack connected to a 7 year old laptop with old USB 1 ports. It works great. I like to fool around with new technology and needed a second line. I am more than pleased with this. I have had one or two issues that seemed to have cleared up. I am almost ready to say that I would think about using it as a main line. I have had it for a month so I'll use it a bit more before making any firm judgements.
