MAGNETIC SUDOKU GAMES
There are many games and puzzles that have used magnets to adapt them for use while traveling and magnetic Sudoku puzzles are gaining in popularity for use while on the road. With a few manufacturers still producing the magnetic Sudoku games, they are being used by those addicted to the puzzles for when they travel or are on vacation and away from their puzzle solving home. With the number of pieces available, the only issue among many of their users is sorting through the numbers at the beginning of every puzzle session.
INCLUDE A VARIETY OF PUZZLES
Many manufacturers of the magnetic Sudoku games also include a variety of puzzles with the initial number clues as well as the answers. While working the puzzles in a moving vehicle may be somewhat questionable, taking them on vacation to pass the time away while sitting in a tent in the rain may be an option. It remains doubtful that magnetic Sudoku puzzles will overtake the newer electronic versions anytime soon, their availability holds appeal to those who want a more hands-on approach to solving their puzzles.
Small Pieces Could Cause A Choking Hazard
It is imperative to remember that all magnetic Sudoku games contain numerous small pieces that could pose a choking hazard and should be kept away from children under about five-years-old. Most people that work the puzzles typically will not allow their concentration to be broken by children, but it best to use them away from the little ones.
MANY VIEW PUZZLES AS AN OBSESSION
There are some folks that cannot seem to put down books of crossword puzzles and word-find puzzles and the global introduction of Sudoku has had a similar affect on millions of people.
If they are working a puzzle at home and have to leave on a trip, they can place the numbers they have already determined to be correct on the magnetic Sudoku game board and take the puzzle with them and try to work it out on the road. Packing it in a suitcase probably is not a good idea as the pieces can be jarred loose and they will have to start all over again.
One More Way to Take Your Hobby On The Road
Magnetic Sudoku puzzles are just one more way that people have to take their hobbies and addictions on the road. They can be especially useful at passing the time in motel rooms or on the porch of that beach-front vacation home.

- This is a great idea. My kids have messed around with sudoku for some time on and off and this would give them one more thing to stop the "are we there yet" syndrome on journeys!
The one thing I have found (as they have grown older) is that they often need a bit of guidance as far as techniques are concerned. So, I've just started a site where I am going to put all of the stuff I have learned along the way at Expert Sudoku Solver and I'd be interested in your comments about it's usefulness.

- Sudoku can be addicting...though some are very very difficult...good lens. Never knew they had a magnetic version. I had a board game version as well as the books.

- Rosemary
- Rosemary is a relative to the mint family and the name is derived from its Latin origin to mean "dew of the sea." Rosemary is very common in Mediterranean cuisine and has somewhat of a bitter astringent taste to it. While that is true it compliments oily foods very nicely. A tisane can be made from the Rosemary leaves and that is also very popular when cooking.
