Maine coon pictures

Meet Poldi. Poldi is the youngest one from Ira's first breed and real school case of a fighter. No, he is not violent. Let me explain. While Ira was just a year old, she had a first (2 in total) set of cubs. 8 out of 9 were born alive and one unfortunately didn't make it. Poldi was the last one to be born and everything looked like he won't make it ether. He was much smaller then rest of them and he wasn't able to eat. Even Ira toss away him like unwanted cub. Everything looked like he won't make it through the night.

But My mom didn't give up. She dipped her finger in to milk and rub his nose in hope that he will start to eat. After 4 hours of struggling, he finally start to suck her finger. Mom took him to Ira and found him a free nipple. The moment he found it, he was locked on. Even when Ira took a walk, he would still hang on that nipple and no one, and I mean no one was allowed to touch it. After a month or so, he was almost as big as rest of them.

After winning battle with death, his struggle wasn't over yet. As the smallest one out of his siblings, he was often picked on and bullied, but he always stand his ground. He spend most of his days on top of the cat tree all by him self. This was his kingdom and hi was the king of the hill.

But he had a great character and my parents decided to keep him and his bigger brother Max. As you can see on picture, he grow up to be beautiful big Maine coon male. He is still king of his kingdom. He still likes to climb on high ground and watch down on my parents and his brother. But when he feels like, he comes down and start to snuggle with just anybody that is available at that moment.

This is just a Maine coon kitten picture I found on internet, but it looks just like Ira use to when she was a kitten. Aren't then the cutest kittens you ever saw? Main coon kitten pictures always were my favorite kind.
