The next Major League Baseball 2K11 was released in March 2011 and looking at the trailer videos this games looks even better than before.
There have been some improvements in the fielding system which gives you more accuracy in throwing a curve ball or a fly ball. With the new technology Major League Baseball 2K11 looks to be so much more fun. My Player, a mode I enjoyed from last year, has been noticeably improved. You step into the role of one member of a team, playing only that character as he bats and fields. The ways your character can earn stat points has been increased, making it easier to build up your player over the course of a few seasons. It still has that problem of being a limited game mode, as you only get to play defense when it's a play that is hit to you.

The pitching is still the best thing in the game, although this time you can no longer pitch to the corners, as anything on the line is registered as a ball. There are some umpires in baseball that call the game like this.
The best part of the game in my opinion is the My Player, as long as you play as the starting pitcher.
