How To Make Gold In Cataclysm | 10,000 Gold In An Hour!

Let's Do This!

First, go to your local Aution House and search for "Elementium Ore". Before you purchase the ore, make sure this technique will work for you. Look at the elementium ore price and multiply it by three. If the product is less than the amount of an uncut Inferno Ruby, proceed to the next step. If not, then this guide will not work for you.

Remember: The price of elementium ore is always determined by the price of the inferno ruby!

Now it's the hard part. It's time to spend some gold! Buy as many stacks of "Elementium Ore" as you can, I always try to start off with at least 100 stacks, but your current finantial status may alter this.

For better deals, ask in the Trade Channel. When you mention that you are buying "Elementium Ore" always note that you are buying in bulk.

After you recieve all of the "Elementium Ore", send it off to your Jewel Crafter. Now you will need to prospect this ore. Prospecting is extremely boring for most people, but remember it will pay off in the end! Normally I prospect when I'm waiting for a group, talking to friends, or just watching T.V.

Now that all of your ore has been prospected, it's time to make it into some gear! The gear you will want to make will correspond with the type of gem you have:

Jasper -> Jasper Ring
Alicite -> Alicite Pendant
Hessonite -> Hessonite Band
Nightstone -> Nightstone Choker
Carnelian -> Carnelian Spikes

Notice: Zephyrite is currently useless. I suggest vendoring them if you can not find someone to sell them to. Also, keep the rare gems that you create, for they will be mentioned again on the last step.

After you have made all of the rings, neck pieces, and fist weapons it's time to send them to your enchanter. When you recieve all of these items, Disenchant them.

Once you have completely disenchanted all of the rings, neck pieces, and fist weapons, it's time to sell all the mats! Don't forget, you also have the rare gems that you had obtained from prospecting to sell, too!

How To Sell Your Mats!

-Post them in the Auction House! With the rare gems, I suggest not cutting them. When the gems are cut there is a greater competition to sell them, thus it takes a longer time to sell.

-"Spam" the Trade Channel! There are numerous amounts of people who will want to buy your mats. Always try to sell your mats in bulk!

-Obtain contacts. A lot of items that I buy and sell come from normal customers. I make an agreement with them and whenever they have an item I want or an item they want, we just CoD the item to each other for a price. It's faster and there is no AH fees or percentage cut!

I have been playing this game for a little over five years now, and I know how hard it is to make gold. Through all of my experience this is one of the best ways to make gold. Within an hour of work you can be making up to 10,000 gold!
